Information
Title:
Environmental Expo Discussion
Background:
Since the last meeting, it is Staff's understanding that the Expo Subcommittee met to begin discussing concepts/details for this year's event. This case is intended to provide the Subcommittee an opportunity to update the Board and to possibly spark continued discussions/ideas for the event.
Observations:
Staff does have a couple miscellaneous updates:
- Board Member Enstrom has informed Staff that Central Landscapes has expressed an interest in participating this year.
- Attached to this case is the layout for Happy Days event as well as the schedule of events.
- Tent dimensions will be 100' by 40'.
- Electricity will be available for one row of exhibitors.
- Use of the bingo tent prior to the parade for a speaker would be possible (including a PA system).
- Board Member Bentz has suggested that Makin' Monarchs, out of Princeton, MN, be considered for the event.
Action:
Based on discussion.
