Approve Request to Declare Surplus Property
Background:
Staff is requesting Council declare the following property surplus and authorize trade-in of same:
HP DesignJet 800 ps plotter - SG51682040
HP DesignJet 815 mfp Scanner - DK51682040
HP DesignJet 1050c plotter - ESA9207105
A new plotter/scanner (combination) has been ordered for the Engineering Department and staff has been quoted approximately an $850 trade-in value for the old equipment. The value of the old equipment is primarily to use it for parts; therefore, staff feels an $850 trade-in value is fair.

Council Action:
Motion to declare the two HP DesignJet plotters and the HP DesignJet scanner as surplus property; allowing staff to trade them in for credit toward the purchase of the replacement equipment for the Engineering Department.
