Title:
Rain Garden Demonstration Project Update
Background:
Staff, in conjunction with Chairperson Max, has put together a conceptual planting plan for the Alpine Park rain garden demonstration project. The attached concept plan however, is based on wetter conditions than may actually exist on site. Thus, the planting list may need to be amended somewhat to include plants more suitable for mesic environments. Staff will be meeting with Prairie Restorations this week regarding a different project and will be seeking their input on what suitable species for the growing conditions at this site (along with what species they have available).
Action:
No action is necessary, this case is intended as an update only.
