Title:
Discuss Upcoming Citizen Engagement Opportunties
Purpose/Background:
There are two (2) upcoming citizen engagement opportunities that may be of interest to the Board. The first is to discuss amenities to consider for the future lake feature in The COR. This could include both active and passive recreation opportunities. The second involves the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update. This discussion will provide residents an opportunity to help shape the vision of future land use goals in the community. The purpose of this agenda item is to provide the Board an opportunity to identify specific items and/or concepts that would be appropriate for one or both of these upcoming citizen engagement events. Ideally one or more members of the Board would be able to attend and participate in these upcoming meetings to carry forward any input from the EPB. However, Staff will be attending both and can, if need be, forward on comments from this discussion.
