Title
Adopt Resolution #14-05-071 in Recognition of Educational Contributions of Dennis Carlson, Retiring Superintendent of Anoka-Hennepin School District #11
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: The purpose of this Consent Case is to adopt a resolution recognizing the accomplishments/contributions of Dennis Carlson, Retiring Superintendent of Anoka-Hennepin School District #11.
Background: On the evening of May 29, 2014, retiring Anoka-Hennepin School District Superintendent Dennis Carlson will be receiving the Lifetime Partner of Promise award from Youth First of Andover, Anoka and Ramsey. Staff was asked to request the City Council to adopt a resolution in recognition of Superintendent Carlson for his service to our community. These resolutions/proclamations will be presented to Superintendent Carlson during the award ceremony.
