Adopt Resolution #14-06-111 approving partial payment to North Metro Asphalt for IP 13-13; Armstrong Boulevard Trail Extension between Alpine Drive and 161st Avenue.

In May of 2014 the Engineering Technician IV inspected the completed work (Armstrong Boulevard Trail Extension) and recommended partial payment to North Metro Asphalt for $61,819.87. This partial payment was approved as part of the May bill approvals and payment was issued .  A follow up resolution should have been presented to the City Council for adoption at its May 27, 2014 meeting. The staff person who typically handles this duty was out on part-time medical leave and the follow-up resolution was never adopted.

Staff recommends adopting Resolution #14-06-111 authorizing partial payment to North Metro Asphalt for IP 13-13, Armstrong Boulevard Trail Extension between Alpine Drive and 161st Avenue, which was previously issued May 27, 2014 in the amount of $61,819.87.
