Title
Adopt Resolution #14-06-114 approving final payment to Dryden Excavating Inc for IP 13-15; Vanadium Street Culvert Repair
Purpose/Background:
To review and approve the attached Resolution and Pay Request.
Observations/Alternatives:
Issuing final payment will be contingent on receipt of the following items from Dryden Excavating:
- IC 134 (Contractor’s Withholding Affidavit showing compliance with the provisions of Minnesota Statute 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax)
- Waiver of Mechanic’s Lien Rights (Affidavits that all claims against Dryden Excavating by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured)
- Consent of Surety to Final Payment (Certification from the contractor’s surety)
Recommendation:
The Engineering Technician IV has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Dryden Excavating Inc. for IP 13-15; Vanadium Street Culvert Replacement in the amount of $5,492.00, contingent on receipt of the items noted herein.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #14-06-114 authorizing final payment to Dryden Excavating Inc. for IP 13-15; Vanadium street Culvert Replacement in the amount of $5,492.00, contingent on receipt of the items noted herein.
