Title
Adopt Resolution #14-06-105 approving partial payment to American Liberty Construction Inc. for IP 13-14 Elmcrest Park's Community Building
Purpose/Background:
In April of 2014 the Parks & Assistant Public Works Superintendent inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction for $123,424.24. This partial payment was approved as part of the April bill approvals and payment was issued . A follow up resolution should have been presented to the City Council for adoption at its April 22, 2014 meeting. The staff person who typically handles this duty was out on medical leave and the follow-up resolution was never adopted.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends adopting Resolution #14-06-105.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #14-06-105 authorizing partial payment to American Liberty Construction Inc. for IP 13-14; Elmcrest Park's Community Building, which was previously issued on April 22, 2014 in the amount of $123,424.24.
