Proposed 2015 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges

Purpose:  The City annually adopts by ordinance a schedule of city rates, fees and charges.

Background:  A listing of the schedule of rates fees and charges is attached.  The majority of the changes from 2014 to 2015 are reflective in the building construction section with a slight increase for respective permits.  The Elm Crest Park Building and respective facility rental fees have been added to the facility use section.  Lastly, the utility section has been updated to reflect increases in water rates which are per the 2012 Comprehensive Water System study and a 10% increase in storm water utility rates, to establish funding for upcoming storm water projects in the next few years per the 2015-2019 Capital Improvement Plan (projected cash flow is attached).  

The 2015 Schedule of Rates & Charges will be brought to the regular City Council meeting of November 12, 2014 to introduce the ordinance and adoption of the ordinance with a public hearing is scheduled for November 25, 2014.
