Title:
Review of Community Events and Memberships
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: Review of budgeted and in-kind costs of city community events and memberships.
Background: The preliminary 2015 General Fund Budget contains several items related to community events and memberships. In addition to budgeted costs, there are also several in-kind costs for activities such as Happy Days, Safety Camp and Youth First. A summary of community events and memberships that the city partakes in outlines not only the budgeted cost of the event/membership, but also the total estimated cost of said event/membership.
A 2015 budget worksession is scheduled for November 12, 2014. A review of the memberships and events will outline the impacts on the budget.
