Title
Adopt Resolution 14-11-230 Accepting $1,000 Donation from Ramsey Lions for Heart-Safe Program
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: Minnesota Statute 465.03 entitled Gifts to Municipalities states that any city, county, school district or town may accept a grant or devise of real or personal property and maintain such property for the benefit of its citizens in accordance with the terms described by the donor. Every acceptance shall be by resolution of the governing body adopted by two-thirds of its members.
The city has received a $1,000 cash donation from the Ramsey Lions to be used towards the city's Heart-Safe program.

Action:
Motion for City Council to adopt Resolution #14-11-230 accepting $1,000 from the Ramsey Lions for Heart-Safe Program.
