Title:
Consider a Resolution to End the Probationary Period of the Economic Development and Marketing Manager
Background:
Mr. Aaron Backman was hired for the position of Economic Development and Marketing Manager on November 8, 2010 and was subject to a six-month probationary period. Mr. Backman has successfully completed the required six-month probationary period.
Recommendation:
To remove Mr. Backman from probation effective May 8, 2011 and retain him as the full-time regular Economic Development and Marketing Manager.
Funding Source:
There are no additional funds required to remove Mr. Backman from probation.
Council Action:
Motion to approve resolution 11-04-XXX which confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to remove Mr. Aaron Backman from probation and retain him as the City's full-time regular Economic Development and Marketing Manager.
