Title
Adopt Resolution #14-11-247 Recognizing the Anoka Tornadoes Boys Soccer Team for Winning the Class 2A State Title in Boys High School Soccer
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: The purpose of this case is to adopt a resolution recognizing the Anoka High School Tornadoes Boys Soccer Team for winning the Class 2A State Title in Boys High School Soccer.
Background: The Anoka High School Boys Soccer Team won the 2014 Cass 2A State Championship Title in Boys High School Soccer and Council would like to publicly recognize them for their outstanding achievement. The attached resolution is for Council consideration and a separate proclamation, mirroring the language of this resolution, will be presented formally to the coach and/or team members at the December 9 City Council meeting.
