Title:
Recognition of Anoka High School Tornadoes Boys Soccer Team for Winning the Class 2A State Title in Boys High School Soccer
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: The purpose of this presentation is to give recognition to the Anoka Tornadoes Boys Soccer Team for Winning the Class 2A State Title in Boys High School Soccer.
Background: The Anoka High School Boys Soccer Team won the Class 2A State Title in Soccer for 2014. At the November 25, 2014 meeting, City Council adopted a resolution in recognition of the Soccer Team for their well-deserved victory. Coach Pete Hayes and the Tornadoes Boys Soccer Team have been invited to the City Council meeting to be recognized and congratulated on their outstanding achievement - earning them the Class 2A State Title in Boys High School Soccer.
Mayor Strommen will read the proclamation and present it to Coach Hayes and the Soccer Team, on behalf of the City Council.
