Title:
Consider no parking resolution for City project #09-25; Dysprosium Street improvements
Background:
City project #9-25 is for the reconstruction of Dysprosium Street NW; including a reduced pavement width, parking bump-outs, sidewalks, lighting, and boulevard trees. The public hearing for the project was held in March 2010, and Council ordered the improvements in May of 2010. Due to the proposed narrower pavement width parking restrictions must be enacted to comply with State Aid requirements and secure funding. The proposed parking restrictions were reviewed as part of the public hearing/meeting process for the road project.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approving the attached resolution related to parking restrictions for City project #9-25; Dysprosium Street improvements.
