Approve Request to Declare Surplus Property

Purpose:  To declare property that is no longer needed as surplus property and to authorize sale/disposal of same.

Background:  Below is a list of property that no longer serves a useful purpose.  

Honeywell Fusion video server
Honeywell Fusion III video server
KVM switch (2-port) (x2)
KVM switch (7-port)
One HP monitor
Panasonic Network video recorder
Three analog, domed video cameras (non-functioning; parts only)
Cisco Catalyst core  switch
One Dell PC
13" Tube TV + mount + remote
13" Tube TV + mount
One set of server rail guards
One gel shoulder rest for phone
One VOIP Networking Gateway (new; unused)
One PTZ Controller pad
Two HP Proliant DL380 G3 servers
Three HP Proliant DL380 G4 servers
Three Samsung Galaxy S3 Phones (Sprint) with chargers, cases, headphones, and original boxes
One Kyocera Torque (Sprint) phone with charger, case, belt, holster, and headphones
 

All items that fail to sell at auction will be recycled.

Staff recommends Council declare the aforementioned equipment as surplus property and authorize sale/disposal.

Motion to declare the above mentioned items as surplus and authorize sale/auction of same.
