Adopt City of Ramsey Three-Year Strategic Action Plan

Purpose:  To adopt the three-year strategic action plan.

Background:  Staff reviewed the draft three-year strategic action plan with the City Council at a work session on March 24, April 28, May 12, and again on June 9.  There were revisions suggested during the June 9 work session, and the consensus of the Council was for staff to make those amendments and move the plan forward to the City Council meeting for adoption.  The revised Plan is attached for Council approval.

The vision statement was slated for discussion at the June 9 Council work session; however, it was determined that it would be discussed at a future time.

The Council may modify, deny, postpone, or approve the Plan as recommended.  After a significant period of review over the last 3-4 month, it is recommended that the Plan be approved, recognizing that the Council can and may make changes in the future.

Staff is recommending the City Council review the final draft of the three-year strategic action plan and adopt it.
