Title
Approve Licenses
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: The purpose of this case is to approve the annual license renewals for 2016. Renewals include Garbage/Rubbish Haulers, Gasoline Sales, Tobacco Sales,Pawnbroker, Motor Vehicles Sales and/or Repair, Therapeutic Massage Establishments and Therapeutic Massage Therapists. Also included in with the annual renewals are two requests for temporary liquor licenses.
Background: Certain businesses in the City of Ramsey are required to have a license in addition to the Business Registration Certificate. Those renewals are attached for Council approval. All renewals have not yet been received - those are noted with an asterisk to the right of their business name on the attachment. Staff is asking Council to approve these licenses contingent upon receiving the proper paperwork. Staff will continue to bring new licenses forward as they are received throughout the year.
