Purpose/Background:
PURPOSE
Business Retention and Expansion Program Update
BACKGROUND
Staff plans on sending out invites for the City's BR&E program in March. Visits will occur from April to August. Staff is targeting November for report back to the EDA.
Moving forward, as visits are scheduled, staff will create a schedule/ sign up sheet for EDA members (which will be attached to EDA meeting agendas).
Attached is the target list for 2016; along with draft materials. Based on experience, staff expects the target list of 41 businesses to result in about 30 actual visits.
Staff is open to suggestions on all attached items (including the target list).
