Title:
City Board and Commission Interviews
Purpose/Background:
The City conducts annual board and commission interviews every March for specific seats that are vacant and for terms that are set to expire on March 31, with new terms beginning on April 1. Interviews will be begin at 5:30 and run through approximately 6:45 p.m.
The Mayor and Councilmembers will be considering several incumbents for the Environment Policy Board and one incumbent for the Economic Development Authority, as well as five new applicants for the Environmental Policy Board and the Park and Recreation Commission.
*Per Minnesota Statue 469.095 (attached), the Mayor appoints members to the Economic Development Authority.
