2016 Annual EDA Business Expo Recap
Purpose/Background:
Annually, the Ramsey EDA sponsors a Business Expo. The purpose of this event is to promote Ramsey's businesses (typically retail and service industries) to the community. Normally, this event draws 200-300 visitors and 45-50 exhibitors.

On Saturday, April 16, 2016 the City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority (EDA) hosted its 8th annual Ramsey Business Expo. The event was held at the Fountains of Ramsey in The COR and featured 48 local businesses including restaurants, professional services, retail and more.
An estimated 300 guests stopped by from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to learn about the variety of businesses and services that the City of Ramsey and its surrounding communities have to offer. Admission to the event was free.
Fun giveaways, product samples, prize drawings and demonstrations were offered by many of the participating vendors. Visitors walked away with great coupons, deals, information, and a free City of Ramsey tote bag.
Exhibitors included: 32 Ramsey Businesses & 16 Non-Ramsey Businesses/Merchants (Everyone on the wait list got in).
New vendors this year included: Lennar Homes, The Lunch Box, Hirshfield’s.
