Title:
Contract for Interim Fire Chief Services to City of St Francis
Background:
Recently the City of St Francis approached the City of Ramsey to discuss options of sharing fire service resources. Through the conversation the idea of Fire Chief Kapler acting as an Interim Fire Chief was discussed. Follow up meetings have been held at the staff level and this topic was discussed at Ramsey City Council Worksession on May 10. Per direction of council the City Attorney has drafted a contract for services (attached). The draft agreement has also been brought to the St. Francis City Council on May 16 for action.
Funding Source:
No funding is required for this action. Per the contract a portion of the compensation will come to the City of Ramsey.
Council Action:
Motion to accept the terms of the contract for services with the City of St Francis.
