At this time the City is accepting applications for its boards and commissions.  There are current openings on the Planning Commission; however applications are being accepted for all commissions and will be kept on file for one year.  New terms will begin on April 1, 2017.   Applications are available on the City's website or by contacting Human Resources Manager Colleen Lasher.   
 
The City also has a vacancy on the Charter Commission.  Two members of the four members whose terms expired in December 2016, have asked for reappointment.  Staff received a request for appointment this week and all requests have been submitted to the Chief Judge of the Tenth Judicial Court.  That still leaves one vacancy. If you are interested in learning more about the Charter Commission please contact City Clerk Jo Thieling.
