2011 Sponsorships Needs

As the Committee is aware, our Happy Days event is mostly paid for by donation/sponsorships. The Committee needs to take a more active role is trying to procure these donations/sponsorships. Earlier this year, Kathy Schmitz mailed a letter and the sponsorship flyer and to all businesses on the Business Registration List. These letters did generate a few small donations, but not enough to pay for this event.

Last week, we received $5,000.00 from Northgate Church for their exclusive sponsorship of the inflatables for the kids events.  Their donation pays for a good portion of this event leaving $2,130 to come out of the Happy Days' funds.  We also received a check for $2,500.00 from Connexus Energy for their exclusive sponsorship of the 5K Run.  This donation should pay for most of this particular event.

It has been suggested that the Committee contact past sponsors to see if they would be willing to offer donations to this year's event.  Attached is a list sponsors from both 2009 and 2010.
