Aeon Purchase Agreement #1: Adopt Resolution 17-08-199 Authorizing Sale of City Owned Land
Purpose/Background:
This case is administrative in nature. This case is in regards to the attached purchase agreement, and purchase agreement amendment, with Aeon Portfolio II LLC. Aeon is proposing the 54-unit Greenway Terrace apartment complex located just north of The Draw Park in The COR (see attached draft plans).
In order to close out this land transaction, Anoka County requires the City of Ramsey to pass a formal resolution authorizing the sale. No terms or conditions of the proposed project/ deal/ transaction are being changed. This case is purely administrative, and formally re-affirms past actions/ approvals by the City Council to sell this property. This case is not in relation to the the site plan/ plat/ entitlement process. Staff expects closing for this land transaction to occur in August or September.
This case has been reviewed several times in the recent past:
