Title:
Approve Amending Council and Public Works Meeting Schedule for December
Purpose/Background:
Purpose: To cancel the second Council meeting and the Public Works Committee meeting for December due to the holidays.
Background: Council typically cancels the second Council meeting in December due to the holidays. The second meeting this year would fall on December 26, 2017. Council usually cancels the Public Works Committee meeting as well, which falls on Tuesday, December 19.
If Council is not in agreement with the cancelations recommended by staff and would like to vote for something different, this case may be pulled from the Consent Agenda for discussion.

Notification:
All meeting changes will be noticed with the Official Posting of the Meeting Schedule on the Posting Board in the lobby of the Municipal Center, as well as on the City's website.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends canceling the Council meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 26, and the Public Works Committee meeting, originally scheduled for December 19, for 2017.
Action:
Motion to cancel the Public Works Committee meeting for December and the second City Council meeting originally scheduled for December 26, 2017.
