Title
Adopt Resolution #17-12-301 Approving Final Payment to AAA Striping Service Company for IP 17-04, Sunwood Drive Striping Improvements
Purpose/Background:
Resolution and Pay Request attached.
Observations/Alternatives:
Issuing final payment will be contingent on receipt of the following items from AAA Striping Service Company:
- IC 134 (Contractor’s Withholding Affidavit showing compliance with the provisions of Minnesota Statute 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax),
- Waiver of Mechanic’s Lien Rights (Affidavits that all claims against AAA Striping Service Company by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured), and
- Consent of Surety to Final Payment (Certification from the contractor’s surety).
Recommendation:
The Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to AAA Striping Service Company for IP 17-04, Sunwood Drive Striping Improvements in the amount of $11,986.10.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #17-12-301 approving final payment to AAA Striping Service Company for IP 17-04, Sunwood Drive Striping Improvements in the amount of $11,986.10.
