Title

Adopt Resolution #17-12-311 Accepting Fee Title to Outlot A, Covenant Meadows per the Approved Planned Unit Development (Project No. 17-102); Case of Brookview Estates, LLC

Purpose/Background:

In June of 2017, the City Council approved the Final Plat and Zoning Amendment for Covenant Meadows, a twelve (12) lot rural subdivision.  The project was approved as a Planned Unit Development with the public benefit being the approximately fifteen (15) acres that straddles Trott Brook being conveyed to the City for permanent open space.  Brookview Estates, LLC (the "Developer") has prepared a Warranty Deed and a Mortgage Release to convey Outlot A, Covenant Meadows to the City per the approved final plat and zoning amendment.  Adoption of Resolution #17-12-311 would authorize the acceptance of Outlot A, Covenant Meadows and would allow the necessary documents to be recorded to complete the land transfer.

Funding Source:

All costs associated with this request are the responsibility of the Developer.

Recommendation:

Staff recommends adoption of Resolution #17-12-311 accepting fee title to Outlot A, Covenant Meadows.

Action:

Motion to adopt Resolution #17-12-311 accepting fee title to Outlot A, Covenant Meadows.
