Title:
Review Draft Economic Development Chapter of Comprehensive Plan
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to review a draft of the Economic Development Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan . This Chapter will be an iterative review process as subsequent chapters are completed. This will not be the last time this chapter will be reviewed.

Recommendation:
The Steering Committee reviewed this draft on December 11 and made several recommendations. This draft does not yet reflect these recommendations, as Staff is still compiling and editing. This draft was reviewed by the Economic Development Authority (EDA) on December 14 and was generally acceptable to the draft. The EDA did recommend establishing longer-term goals beyond their current Work Plan, and will be holding a strategic planning session on this topic on January 25.
Action:
Provide input and recommendations on the draft chapter.
