Title
Adopt Resolution #18-043 Authorizing Final Payment to Metro Utilities, Inc. for IP 17-09 Bunker Lake Blvd Utilities Extension
Purpose/Background:
Resolution and Pay Request attached.
Observations/Alternatives:
Issuing final payment will be contingent on receipt of the following items from Metro Utilities, Inc.:
- IC 134 (Contractor's Withholding Affidavit showing compliance with the provisions of Minnesota Statue 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax)
- Waiver of Mechanic's Lien Rights (Affidavits that all claims against Metro Utilities, Inc. by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured)
- Consent of Surety to Final Payment (Certification from the contractor's surety)
Recommendation:
The Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Metro Utilities, Inc. in the amount of $16,277.35.
Action:
Motion to adopt Resolution #18-043 authorizing final payment to Metro Utilities, Inc. for IP 17-09, Bunker Lake Boulevard Utilities Extension in the amount of $16,277.35.
