Title
Adopt Resolution 18-161 Hiring a Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Worker
Purpose/Background:
The purpose of this case is to request authorization to hire a Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Worker. Annually, the City employs Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Workers to perform work in the Parks, Streets, and Utilities Divisions of Public Works. At this time, staff selected Jacob Vanness to fill one of the remaining vacancies.
Funding Source:
The funding required to fill this position is included within the approved 2018 budget.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends hiring Mr. Jacob Vanness, as a Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Worker, effective July 30, 2018 at $11.50 per hour.
Action:
Motion to adopt resolution #18-161 to hire Mr. Jacob Vanness, as a Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Worker, effective July 30, 2018 at $11.50 per hour.
