Title:
Acknowledge Restaurant Incubator Feasibility Study—a Resilient Communities Project
Purpose/Background:
As part of the spring 2018 Resilient Coummunities Project, the City requested that the University of Minnesota's Office of Economic Development, and the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs conduct an analysis on the feasibility of the proposed park and concession building at The Waterfont serving as a 'restaurant incubator'.
The above referanced study is attached, and includes valuable information, and some encouraging findings. For the meeting, Staff will summarize some of the take-away points from this project.
