Title
Adopt Resolution #19-030 Authorizing Final Payment to Park Contruction Company for Improvement Project 16-54; Mississippi River Trail - Phase III.
Purpose/Background:
Resolution and Pay Request Attached.
Observations/Alternatives:
Issuing final payment will be contingent on receipt of the following items from Park Contruction Company:
- IC 134 (Contractor’s Withholding Affidavit showing compliance with the provisions of Minnesota Statute 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax)
- Waiver of Mechanic’s Lien Rights (Affidavits that all claims against Park Contruction Company by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured)
- Consent of Surety to Final Payment (Certification from the contractor’s surety)
Recommendation:
Bolton & Menk, Inc. has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Park Construction Company for Improvement Project 16-54; Mississippi River Trial - Phase III in the amount of $12,366.79.
Final construction costs are $9,647.01 (1.5%) less than the awarded bid.
