Title:
Receive Update from Community Development Department
Purpose/Background:
Community Development Director Tim Gladhill will give a brief overview of development activity and other projects managed by the Community Development Department in 2018 as well as a forecast for 2019. Each department provides a periodic report of activities to the City Council in addition to regular cases.
The Community Development Department helps guide changes to the physical built-environment over time through planning, economic development, and safety inspections. The department is comprised of three (3) divisions.

- Planning (Land Use Planning, Development Review, Zoning Administration, Code Enforcement)
- Economic Development (Business Retention/Expansion, Plan Implementation/Financing, Real Estate Management)
- Building Inspections (Permits)
