1: Consider Guidelines for Uncontrolled Pedestrian Crossings: Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee to recommend that the City Council follow the Local Road Research Board Manual on Pedestrian Crossings at Uncontrolled intersections.
2:Consider Engineering Study for Pedestrian Crosswalk at Armstrong Boulevard and 161 st Avenue: Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee to recommend City Council accept staff recommendation to leave the pedestrian crosswalk at Armstrong Boulevard and 161 st Avenue as is until pedestrian volumes increase, to direct staff to request Anoka County to add solar signalization, and to direct staff to request police presence in the area for an appropriate length of time to raise awareness.
