Authorization for ratification for PO 22501743 for repair of 20” water line leak on West Bland St. to White Cloud Pipeline in the amount of $104,554.27 including GRT, to include a budget adjustment of $18,629.08 (Corn/Valadez)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Andrew Valadez
The City has a large diameter water line break on a 20” concrete transmission line on West Bland Rd. The large diameter water line repair work was awarded to White Cloud Pipeline utilizing RFP-25-001 On Call Utility Repair Services. This is specialized repair work which requires an excavator, shoring equipment and welding steel reinforcement bands.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
- Funding Source - This item will be funded in part through the regular operating budget using the Infrastructure Maintenance and Repair account 5300-4354-614020 with a budget balance of $85,425.19.
- Funding Source - Budget adjustment to Infrastructure Maintenance and Repair account 53004354-614020 in the amount of $18,629.08.
- Funding Source - PO 22501743 encumbrance of $500.00

Infrastructure referred to Finance Committee 5-0 at their meeting on 1/27/25. Finance Committee Meeting on 2/6/2025 voted (5-0) to recommend approval of this item to February 13, 2025 City Council.
