ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of license agreement, or agreement substantially similar to that presented, between Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) and City of Roswell (COR). (Corn/Yntema)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Administration
Last year, the City and RARA entered into a memorandum (MOU) regarding ROW hosting RARA NCAR events. This license agreement fills in the gaps of and effectuates the binding portions of that MOU.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
The proposed Ordinance creates no new financial obligations for the City. The City gains significant new revenue from the agreement.

Legal Committee refered to Finance at their meeting on January 30, 2025. Voice vote 5-0. Finance Committee recommended approval 5-0 at their meeting on 2/6/25.
