ACTION REQUESTED:
Consider recommending approval of the proposed Fares Structure #1.
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Becky Hicks
At several Infrastructure Committee meetings, we have discussed the idea of going Fare-Free. However, it has come to our attention that the Federal Government intends to deny funding to fare-free Transit Authorities. Therefore, the Infrastructure Committee suggested proposing lowered fares instead.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION:
Based on the enclosed spreadsheet dollar figures, this will cost the City revenues of approximately $8,500 to $15,000 based on ridership.

No legal review is required.

At the May 19, 2025, Infrastructure Committee Meeting there was not a quorum.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends consideration of approval and moving forward to City Council Proposed Fare Structure #1.
