Resolution 25-40: Disposal of Certain Surplus Personal Property - adoption of Resolution 25-40 to dispose of certain surplus personal property listed on the attachment. (Corn/Hicks)

This request covers old/obsolete equipment and vehicles currently owned by the City of Roswell.

• Exhibit A: Items valued at less than $2,500.  This list is vehicles and equipment that have been either totaled by insurance or deemed ready for auction because the needed repairs exceed the asset value.
• Exhibit B: Items valued at more than $2,500.  This list is vehicles and equipment that have been either totaled by insurance or deemed ready for auction because they are in a state of disrepair and have exceeded life expectancy.

If there are no bids on these items at the set minimum, the minimum may be re-evaluated and the items will be relisted until sold.  If an item still receives no bids, it will be recycled or disposed of in another acceptable manner.

No legal review is required at this time.

The Finance Committee recommended approval 5-0 at its meeting on August 7, 2025.
