ACTION REQUESTED:
Consider approval to move money from the Roswell Police Department school district line item (SRO) to provide thirteen (13) non-union, civilian employees of the Roswell Police Department with over one (1) year of service with a $2,000 one-time retention bonus. (Aldana)
BACKGROUND:

The Roswell Police Department has thirteen (13) non-union, civilian employees who were ineligible for the department's retention bonus given to all other employees in FY25. This retention money will be utilized with money received from the Roswell Independent School District, which is paid through our School Resource Officer program. With the thirteen employees, the Roswell Police Department requests $26,000.00 to pay a $2,000.00 per employee as a retention bonus.

The Roswell Police Department has approximately $41,000.00 budgeted in our Roswell Independent School District account (SRO). This retention will expend $26,000.00 of this fund.
