ACTION REQUESTED:
Consider approval of a budget adjustment in the amount of $123,270 to fund the Paladin Drones software and equipment contract. This adjustment will re-establish funding that should have been carried over from FY25 but was not included in the FY26 Police Department budget. (Aldana)
BACKGROUND:

The City entered into a contract with Paladin Drones for drone software and equipment, which the Finance Committee and City Council approved in April 2025. The associated purchase order was intended to be carried forward into FY26, but it was missed during the development of the FY26 Police Department budget. This budget adjustment is necessary to provide funding for the first-year implementation and support costs associated with the Paladin Drones contract.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION:
A total budget adjustment of $123,270 is requested from the General Fund as follows:
This adjustment will fully fund the Paladin Drones implementation and annual software support.
- $30,000 to line item 1101-4111-817505 (Equipment)
- $93,270 to line item 1101-4111-663301 (Software License/Maintenance)
