The Solid Waste Department was given budget approval by Finance in their October Meeting and by Council in their October meeting to purchase two (2) new sideloaders:

• One (1) New 2026 Battle Motors Raider/LET2-46 Cab &Chassis with a Heil (Rapid Rial 22yd ASL Body) in the amount of $453,371
• One (1) New 2026 Battle Motors Raider/LET2-46 Cab & Chassis with a Heil (Rapid Rail 24yd ASL Body) for the amount of $466,787.

There is a delivery date of June 2026.

All Specifications of the truck meet the requirements of the Route Supervisor and the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. 

We are coming to Infrastructure to fill the two Committee approval for purchases over $60,000

Budget approval passed in the October Finance Committee and City Council meetings approved the $920,158 for the purchase of 2 side load trucks. Utilizing Sourcewell Contract #032824-CRN
