ACTION REQUESTED:
Resolution 25-55: Condemnations - adoption of Resolution 25-55 the Resolution shall require the removal or demolition of two (2) dilapidated structures. (Heldenbrand/Franco)

These structures constitute a public nuisance harmful to the public health, safety, and general welfare.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
Resolution and notice will be served to owners requiring action within fifteen (15) days. Demolition by the City will proceed if no action is taken and a lien will be placed on the property for cost ranging from $3,000 to $30,000 for each property for removal.
LEGAL REVIEW:
The City Attorney has reviewed the current resolution. Resolutions must be adopted by a majority vote of the entire City Council.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
This item went before Public Safety Committee meeting on October 14, 2025 and passed (3-0). Then sent to Legal Committee which recommended (5-0) approval at their meeting on October 23, 2025.
