Approval of the City of Roswell Police Department to enter into a 5-year lease beginning March 1, 2026, ending February 28, 2031, for Building No. 500 at the Roswell Air Center. (Cavin/Thompson)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by Bobbi Thompson
The City of Roswell Police Department requests to enter into a 5-year lease for Building 500, consisting of 23,000 square feet and adjacent area of land consisting of 5 acres more or less, located at the Roswell Air Center, commencing on March 1, 2026, and ending February 28, 2031.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
Tenant agrees to pay Landlord as rent the sum of three hundred sixty-eight thousand dollars and zero cents ($368,000.00) payable in 12 monthly installments of $30,666.67.
LEGAL REVIEW:
City Attorney has reviewed this lease.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
Legal Committee recommended approval (4-0) at their meeting on January 22, 2026.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
