ACTION REQUESTED:
Resolution 26-08: Approval of adoption of Resolution 26-08, in response to NMDOT’s December 2025, LGRF Funding. (Johnson/MacCornack)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: James MacCornack
The NMDOT has issued a “Call For Projects” under the LGRF program. These are projects that should be considered easily ready for bidding or other procurement processes. The funding level for awarded projects under the LGRF program is 75% NMDOT and 25% Local Match. Formal project awards will be in Fall 2026. The project that is proposed to apply for is Pavement Maintenance on West Country Club Road from Main St. to Washington St.

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
This is for project application support. Any awarded projects will have to be budget adjusted; one formal award is received. The estimated project cost is $250,000 ($187,500 NMDOT, $62,500 City match).
LEGAL REVIEW:
Resolution 26-08 has been submitted to the City Attorney for review.
BOARD AND COMMITTEE ACTION:
The Infrastructure Committee recommended approval (3-0) at its meeting on January 12, 2026.
