ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a budget adjustment and approval to issue a purchase order to Wagner Equipment Co. under Sourcewell Contract #011723-CAT, in the amount of $150,384.00, for a Caterpillar 420 backhoe for South Park Cemetery. (Gass/Burress)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Jim Burress
South Park Cemetery has been operating with its current backhoe loader for approximately seven years. In the event of unexpected equipment failure, the cemetery does not have backup equipment available, which could impact daily operations and service delivery.
The purchase of a new Caterpillar 420 backhoe will ensure continued operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and provide reliable equipment to support cemetery maintenance activities.
