ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a budget adjustment in the amount of $55,757.83 and approval to purchase a new septic system from TLC for the amount of $105,757.83 utilizing state contract 30-00000-23-00084BA. (Gass/Chaparro)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Abraham Chaparro
Currently the septic system at the landfill is needing pumped almost every month to keep it from back flowing into the building. This is a significant health and safety hazard.
City Council approved $50,000 in the FY27 budget for the Solid Waste Department to replace it's septic system. After talking and getting quotes from other contractors we were able to find TLC which has a state pricing agreement 30-00000-23-00084BA
