Approval of a budget transfer in the amount of $255,064.61 and a change order for additional RIAC Drainage Improvements under CES Contract #2026-06-R1239-ALL with Desert West Enterprises, LLC. (Arnold/Vigil)
BACKGROUND:
Initiated by: Paul Vigil
The Air Center is requesting approval of a budget transfer and associated change order for additional RIAC Drainage Improvements. The additional work is necessary to address existing drainage concerns, enhance stormwater management, reduce water accumulation, and improve drainage during significant storm events. The additional scope includes earthwork, exterior improvements, painting, utilities, testing, and inspections.

A budget transfer totaling $255,064.61 is requested from 51004332-652421-Contract Demolition ($215,287.60) and 51004332-614002—M&R Building ($39,777.01) to 51004334-817504-Capital Outlay Infrastructure to provide funding for the additional RIAC Drainage improvement.
