Discussion and possible action to amend an Agreement between Webb County and Thompson Reuters that was authorized by Commissioners Court on September 11, 2023 – Item 9.f., which now includes Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) software and updates to the legal research platform to Westlaw Precision. The amendment to the Agreement will run as originally agreed to as a Sixty (60) month (October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2028) Software Subscription Agreement at a monthly cost of SEVEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE DOLLARS AND NINETY-SEVEN CENTS ($7,851.97) until September 31, 2024, at which time the price will change to TEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE DOLLARS AND ONE CENT ($10,571.01) with a 1% annual increase in price thereafter, subject to annual budget appropriations, and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
