Discussion and possible action to amend FY 2023 Federal 5311-2023-WEBB CO-00005 (RPT 2403 (22) 108_23) for Webb County Community Action Agency - El Aguila Rural Transportation from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in the amount of EIGHTY-EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($88,000) from administration to operations. This grant does NOT require a County Match. All required documentation has been submitted to the solicitation to comply with Webb County (SPOC) Single Point Contact Procedures.
Issue: Rural Public Transportation is a grant-funded agency.
Solution: Commissioners Court approval of the amendment in order for the agency to exhaust all operational funds.
Result: Approval of the contract amendment will ensure the continuation of transportation services to the rural areas of Webb County.
